For all of you that remember when all I did was rant about my brat, The Stepchild, I'm totally founded on my opinion now. I have a very dear friend from high school who has a degree in child psychology. After a long conversation about The Stepchild and all the things she has done and is currently doing, she said that she's positive she is suffering from ODD, that's obsessive defiant disorder. And can be treated by a strict and consistent environment.

Now I just have to get her whore of a mother to agree to doing something about it.

On to other things...On Thursday Chance and I took Callie to see the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions. Don't waste your money. Callie and I were expecting to see jumping horses and cool tricks. Instead they spent the entire first half of the show letting us see what a horse looks like when it walks, trots and canters. At one point when they brought out another horse to walk some more, Callie yells "I've already seen this!"

Did I mention that the 498 other people there were being quiet and paying close attention to the walking horse and her comment echoed off the walls? No, I didn't but the bitch sitting in front of me got a little annoyed and I was prepared to tell her to fuck off if she turned around one more time...but she didn't.

Oh, about the music thing...I don't really have one favorite song. I have lots of music memories.

We moved a lot when I was younger so we were always riding in the van. My parents wouldn't listen to the radio much because they said it made us kids crazy, so we listened to a particular Judds tape, and Conway Twitty and Randy Travis. And a mix tape with Crystal Gayle on it.

But my favorite music memory is from when I was growing up and all of my Dad's family would get together. He has 5 brothers, two of them play the guitar. So any family gathering involved beer, food and music. My uncle Tommy would sing that song, "Swingin'", and changed the name from Charlotte Johnson to my name. I still remember hearing that song on the radio and getting mad and wondering just who was Charlotte Johnson and why was that guy singing her name and not mine?

The first tape I ever owned was the Pointer*Sisters. I remember listening to it on a fisher price radio, I was 4 and dancing to the Neutron*Dance. Awesome! The next tape I owned was Janet Jackson*Control. From there I'm sure it was a downward spiral into NKOTB territory. Jordan was my favorite.

Okay, that's one long entry for today.
